Things are perpetually busy, but I wanted to post a few more updates about the kitties.

Tulip is doing well on her kitty Prozac.  Her energy is back to normal now, and so is just a touch of her punkiness.  She does mess with Moo every now and then, but at least it’s not constant.  It’s also not nearly as aggressive as before.  Mostly she just sticks a paw out to touch Moo when she walks by.

Moomoo seems to be doing well too.  She has been using the litterbox faithfully (thank goodness).  She still seems relaxed, even when Tulip is around her.  She is a big love bug, and likes to tempt us into staying in bed to snuggle with her in the mornings.

Both cats like to follow us around/hang around us, but they seem to agree to leave each other alone for the most part.  I can live with that.  When I break out the toys to play with Moo, Tulip wants to join in.  Moo’s not a big fan of that idea, so she usually walks away and waits for the toys to fly her way.  I would love to see the two of them learn to trust each other and become the best of friends.  Hopefully they’ll get there some day.  In the mean time, it’s nice to be able to have them both under the same roof.

We heard back from Dr. Côté on Saturday regarding Moo Moo’s blood work.  As it turns out, she’s very healthy for her age.  What a relief and a pleasant surprise!   No problems at all other than her teeth.  We’re going to get her in there and get that those taken care of ASAP.   After that, she should be as good as new.

On a side note, we took Janet’s advice and put out a second litterbox for Moo.  This was reluctantly on my part since we literally have no where to put it that is not a focal point of our living space.  I guess you can’t have it all.  I’d rather see the second litterbox and dry floors.  In any case, Moo has claimed this one as her own.  She still visits the other box on occasion as well.  But she seems to prefer the new one.  Now if I could just get Tulip to stop punking her while she’s in there, I think she’d be pretty content.

If you’re really bored, I finally got around to updating the “About” tab to include Miracle. It’s about time the new girl gets some respect!

Last night when I got ready for bed, I couldn’t find Tulip.  I took a tour of the place and didn’t see her.  I figured she had gone down to the foot of the stairs again.  Sure enough, she was sitting down there in the corner by her little self, looking pitiful.  I went down there and scooped her up, and brought her back upstairs.  I put her down on the bed, but she immediately got down and left the room.  She went right back downstairs!  I went down there and got here again, and brought her back to the bedroom.  We ended up locking her in there with us again.  Once we did, she seemed perfectly content.  She went to sleep on the rug in the hallway.  What’s up with that?  I hope kitty isn’t getting sad…

A few days ago, Tulip started wrestling with her kitty bed. She attacked it and flipped it over on top of herself. She then kicked it with both hind feet and launched it across the room, where it landed upright on top of her bowling toy. She got up and walked around looking for it. When she found it, she climbed back in. She had kind of a confused look on her face as if to say “What’s my bed doing over here?”
